We all have the tendency of leaning towards a particular makeup look, or switching off between the same few looks we've created for different occasions. For example, in the morning when we head off to work, we have our go-to makeup and hair look for a chill day at work. Later on though, we'll switch it up to our other go-to look specific to what we'll be doing in the approaching evening or night.

Sure, sometimes we wear a different shade of eyeshadow or pop on a new lip color. However, there's usually the same products or techniques we gravitate towards, like the way we may always wing our eyeliner for a seductive look. Our Summer makeup look is a trendy new statement that all the hottest celebs are rocking. Get ready to be inspired to try something new!

Designer, Larissa Muehleder, commissioned Makeup artist Alex Alva for her impeccable work with color and the amazing way she makes skin look hydrated and radiant. We wanted the skin to be natural but give off that summer dew you feel at the beach or by the pool. With such beautiful skin and light makeup, we were able to draw all the attention to the eyes, which were the main focus. Alex was given the mood board below to work off of and she made the eyes richer and more memorable.

Now, let's get into the juicy details of the look. Summer glow vibes, here we come! 

What goes on before anything else goes on? Yup, you already know. It's Foundation! Alex used the Georgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation. This foundation is lightweight, but gives you just enough coverage for a flawless, silky finish. 

Next up- Eyes! 

Alex used an orange grease base from Kryolan, the Dermacolor Camouflage Creme 4G, to correct undereye discoloration. It is available in a large range of shades and can even last through swimming or extensive heat, so you don't have to worry about it smearing off throughout the day. 

The NARS Taj Mahal Blush was used to give the eyes that orange pop of color, and a few coats of the Marc Jacobs Mascara for the upper and lower lashes for a lash boost. 

Then came the hair. Last but not least! 

With such bold eyes, hair stylist Wade Lee's mission was to give the girls a stunning yet simple hairstyle that #MuehQueens would love to be seen wearing all summer. Wade worked his magic with our models' hair: Tight, bouncy curls for MAAD and soft, beachy waves for Alexandria!
